Good to Know:

A Good Thought:

With ongoing wars, divisive media, elite corruption, and random acts of violence, the world can feel chaotic and heavy lately. It can be hard not to feel weighed down by constant injustices happening around us.

However, I believe staying optimistic and hopeful in uncertain times is the strongest form of resistance we have.

When the media aims to make you hate your neighbor, simply because they have differing beliefs, the most powerful thing you can do is love them regardless.

When society makes you want to hide, live a smaller life, and see the worst in everything, the most powerful thing you can do is live without fear and find the good in everything.

Doing this isn’t always easy. Some days it feel impossible. But there is always a little glimmer of light in the world waiting for you to notice.

It can take practice, but when you make it a point to find moments of gratitude, hope, and positivity, your world starts to shift.

Suddenly, what’s out of your control is no longer your concern. That weight on your shoulders lessens. Instead of judging you seek to understand. Most importantly, you feel excited for the life you’re creating and who you’re becoming.

Eventually, finding the good becomes second nature. And one day, you won’t have to think about it all because it’s just who you are.

Life becomes easier because you know, you trust, that there is good everywhere. All around us, all the time.

Again, sometimes it will be hard to find. But it’s there. Don’t ignore it. Celebrate it. Point it out. Share it with your friends.

It could be hiding in the smile of a stranger, the wag of a familiar tail, or blowing right by you on a summer breeze.

I’m sharing this with you to hopefully spark a little light in a world that sometimes feels dark. I’m sharing this because I used to take everything for granted and now I live every day in awe of the immense miracle that we exist at all (!!!)

Founders Doing Good:

Gen Z founders TJ Driver and Zach Nasgowitz started Brick because they were fed up with how much their phones pulled them out of real life (relatable).

Instead of relying on willpower alone, they created a physical device that lets you literally “brick” distracting apps.

This makes it harder to mindlessly scroll or repeatedly click “remind me in 15 minutes” on your app limits.

It’s simple, but that’s the point.

In a world designed to hijack (and monetize) our attention, Brick helps you take it back. Whether that’s to focus on work, spend less time scrolling, or just enjoy a day without distractions.

In short, they built something that helps us disconnect to reconnect.

Intentional Habit

✨ Screenless nights with friends ✨

What: Gather your friends for a night of good old-fashioned analog fun. Board games, card games, craft nights, anything that involves quality time without screens!

Why: We don’t realize how often our attention is split until it’s not. When the screens disappear, the energy changes. Conversations get a little deeper, laughter comes easy, and you leave feeling genuinely connected.

It’s a small intention that makes a big difference.
